Coffee and Donuts

My sweet friend Emily was in town and she came to see Reese and I!  As if seeing her wasn't blessing enough, she brought Starbucks and Donuts!!! Good woman! We had such a good time. We went shopping and ate lunch and just enjoyed the day together. Thanks for coming to see us Emily! We miss you already!

A Travelin We Will Go...

I love the Holidays!!! And I love love love decorating for Christmas! Everything looks better when it's decorated for Christmas! We are doing quite a bit of traveling over the next month, but our first trip was to Groves to spend Thanksgiving with Justin's family! We had so much fun. Lots of cooking, and eating, and relaxing!

A weekend in Rockwall

We recently went to spend the weekend with my sister and her family, and also to attend their fall festival. This was our first year to order a Halloween costume for Reese and show it off at our church's annual fall festival. But for the last several years we have gone to my sisters fall festival, and this year was no exception, so we decided we would do both! (it was def. more for us than Reese, seeing as when we pulled up to the festival she was crashed out and remained that way for half of our time there!)
Anyway, our costume of choice was a little (pink of course) bunny rabbit! I think she wore it quite well.

We also went with them to take pumpkin patch pictures and though it took a bit of a sour turn for Audrey (she got a little closer to a pumpkin than any of us anticipated when she did a face plant right into one!), we ended up getting some great shots of Reese! By the way, little Audg is just fine and I think we can laugh about it now, although at the time it was a little scary! So, here are some pics of our fun weekend! Thanks you guys for letting us crash with you all weekend... I wish we could do it more often!

Thank Heaven For Tiny Little Heads

Here Reese is all dressed up to go on our walk. I have to add, that the hat she is wearing went with an outfit she got as a newborn; actually she wore it home from the hospital. It of course swallowed her (the whole outfit) because she was so much smaller than we anticipated, so we just rolled the hat up. Thankfully, my tiny little princess doesn't have a huge head and can wear her adorable hat this year, and it fits perfectly!!! Thank Heaven for Tiny Little Heads!!!

Pumpkin Patch Part 1

Justin and I took Reese to the pumpkin patch last weekend and oh, my gosh! It was the neatest thing I've ever seen! We can't wait to go back next year; In fact, we have decided to make it a tradition. She will have so much more fun when she can enjoy everything, but this year, mommy and daddy had a blast!!! Every kind of photo opp. you could wish for they had available, and then some! It was a Pumpkin wonderland!

I recently went shopping to buy Reese some fall clothes, and we got our first pair of big girl shoes! When I tried them on her feet, she immediately started patting them and talking to them! In fact, I let her wear them home and she talked to them the whole way! As my niece Anna would say, "we did pitty dood!" I had so much fun buying her stuff, that I completely forgot about the fact that I don't have any fall clothes :) As long as my daughter looks good, I'm happy! :)

Anyway, I haven't given an update on her in a while, so here it all is in a "blog shell." (I know, corny, but I couldn't help myself.) She is 10 months now and getting sooo big! She has 2 teeth, but is constantly working on more! She said "Mama" around 9 1/2 months, and has since discovered her voice in a whole new light, and decibel! She loves to babble and squeal and she is so much fun! She loves to try to copy and mimic, and thinks that throwing toys on the floor and watching mommy pick them up is hilarious! We just love our little angel and can't believe how blessed we are.
