I was given this fabulous coat at a shower when I was pregnant with Reese but she couldn't wear it until this year. I'd say it was well worth the wait! :) She is my little Audrey Hepburn, or maybe a little bit of Pattington Bear :) Either way I just love her, and her fabulous coat!

Evacuation #2

Grammy and Pop had to "flee" once again from their home due to Hurricane Ike. Seeing as though this one hit directly on top of their area, they were very fortunate and blessed to not have any major damage. Once again, we loved seeing them! Here are some pics of our week.

Road Trip

Last weekend my sister and I headed down to Lampasas (just outside of Austin) to attend a baby shower for one of our cousins. We decided to just take the two babies with us, so she drove to my house and then we left together to embark on one heck of a journey! My sister and I always laugh when we are together, but oh my gosh... this was one of the most comical events that has ever taken place with us. Let me just preface this by saying that with babies, you are on a time crunch when you go somewhere because there is always feedings involved, and Reese and Audrey are not on the same schedule yet since Audrey is a few months younger. Our plan was to leave as soon as they ate so we wouldn't have to stop, but of course, being that we are "Leggetts" we left late. So, off we went to embark on this seemingly easy journey. With me driving, Kristin as my navigator and the babies asleep in the back, what could go wrong? Well, I am the same girl that once left Dallas to go to Houston and ended up in Austin! Hello! Needless to say I am slightly directionally challenged. Kristin and I go so caught up talking that we had no regard for the directions. Luckily it dawned on me that we had been driving for a while and we pulled out the map. That's right, two blondes, with babies in the back and a Texas map. LOOK OUT WORLD! I am proud to say that somehow we navigated our way right to our destination, but not without a crazy feeding stop, a major blowout, a new friend, and a bunch of laughs. But there is no body I would rather get lost and found with on a road trip than my sister. I had so much fun Kristin! I hope we can do it again soon. Here are some fun pics from our weekend.

Happy Anniversary

I have to brag on my sweet husband. Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary. We didn't have anything planned because things have just been so crazy and we don't really have a babysitter for Reese, so I just figured I would cook a nice dinner at home and we would just enjoy each other's company. I had to work at the church yesterday and I got home around 1:00, and Justin pulled up about 5 minutes later!!! He had taken a half day off of work to come home and surprise me. I was so excited!!! He said that he was taking Reese and I out to dinner at Salt Grass and then he and I would go on a romantic date this weekend. I just love him!!! So my sweet and wonderful family went to eat a super yummy dinner and had such a good time. Thanks babe for a wonderful surprise and for making our anniversary so special. I love you and am so thankful for you!
